Artist, choreographer, educator, dancer, visionary, mentor, coach - some of the many ways Sonia Dawkins has indulged her passion for creating and presenting art to the community.   An established choreographer with an international reputation, Sonia Dawkins is, perhaps first and foremost, an artistic visionary.  Her perspective and her creations are strongly influenced by tradition.  Despite this, Sonia Dawkins' work always retains a strong contemporary edge. 

Since 1993, Ms. Dawkins has been gracing communities and audiences with her unique perspective on dance through her choreography, outreach programs for children and the work performed by her dance company, Sonia Dawkins/Prism.
